Policy Placement
The Training and Placement department at Shivalik University has a very straightforward placement policy. The primary purpose of the below mentioned policies and regulations is to devise a clear cut structure and process in which the training and placement department will function. This policy will also lay down the process through which students will be routed through the placement department by clearly construing their roles and responsibilities. The placement policies at Renaissance University are as follows:
- The Training and Placement cell at Renaissance University will comprise of a Training and Placement Officer along with a team of TPO’s who will undertake the responsibility of assuring on-campus placement.
- Placement department will strive to bring together students and recruiters and facilitate the necessary coordination between them.
- It is also the responsibility of the placement department to provide maximum internship opportunities to the students of Renaissance University within India and abroad.
- Any student can participate in the placement process of any company subject to the following two conditions:
- He/She has fulfilled the eligibility criteria of the recruiting company.
- He/She has fulfilled the eligibility criteria of the Placement Department.
- A stipulated time period will be pre-decided by the Placement department, according to which students have to inform the Placement Office regarding his/her decision on the offer. If he/she fails to do so, it shall be assumed that the offer has been rejected by him/her.
- It is for the Placement department to undertake and maintain the quality standards of the jobs offered.
- All students will be selected and assessed by the processes followed by the placement department and their decision will be considered final.
- The training and placement department will correspond with organizations, arrange interviews for students and coordinate various placement activities to achieve maximum output.
